Background

At CloudKitchens, we help restaurants grow their businesses, minimizing costs and maximizing profits with a single tool, Otter. Otter is a restaurant operating system that helps simplify operations and manage everything in one place. With the platform, merchants can manage online orders across all delivery apps, sync their menus and manage them across all their locations, check their finances, understand their restaurant’s performance, and analyze information to see where and how to improve.

With my team, I helped the company expand Otter on two fronts: Promotions, which help customers run campaigns on delivery channels, and Virtual Brands, to help grow their profits with our national top-performing franchises built on customer data and trends.

Otter promotions

Otter Promotions allows restaurants to run promos on delivery channels to increase ranking and reach. We designed and developed a tool that runs tailored, automated campaigns based on customers' goals.

After a few clicks to set the campaign's objectives, budget, and delivery channels, Otter Promos runs campaigns on the go and optimizes them based on performance. After the campaign is set, customers can take a look at the scheduled campaigns through a timeline view that shows quick details of each campaign.

Otter Virtual Brands

Virtual brands help restaurants boost sales and reach new customers. Restaurants use the same kitchen to fulfill orders from a new, delivery-only brand that's actively managed and marketed by Otter.

With the team, we built a brand e-commerce within our platform that helps customers browse different brands while getting information about orders and sales. From there, a customer can easily jump through the brand onboarding in a self-serve way, specifying which locations, items, and hours they want to set up the brand for.
